

Rozella Ford, 90, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Sunday May 5, at Lutheran Life Villiages, Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, she was a daughter of the late W. Don and Elsie L. Foutz, and a member of First Wayne Street United Methodist Church, and was a volunteer for the Fort Wayne League for the Blind and Disabled. Rozella’s creativity was evident throughout her life. She was a dancer, artist, clothing designer, dance teacher, and floral gardener. In the early years, Rozella and her sister ran a dance studio where she designed and made all of the costumes for the students. Later in life, Rozella enjoyed painting beautiful landscapes as well as still life objects.
She is survived by her sons, Paul (Marjorie) Ford, Larry (Rebecca) Ford, and Jake (Denise) Ford; grandsons, Jeffrey and Brandon Ford. She was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Ford; and sister, Donna Byers.
Memorial service will be held at 4 PM Saturday May 11, at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Homes, Winchester Road Chapel, 6424 Winchester Road, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior. Inurnment will be at Covington Memorial Gradens, Fort Wayne
