Ruth M. Hack, 71, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away Monday, January 8, 2024. She was born July 12, 1952 in Fort Wayne to the late Eugene and Alice Galloway. Ruth graduated from South Side High School. She worked for two decades at Bendix of Huntington, Indiana and one decade with B.F. Goodrich in Woodburn, Indiana. Ruth loved her dogs, spending time outdoors, walking, tending to her flower gardens, and shopping. Her most cherished time spent was with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Ruth attended Huntington University and earned her Associates Degree in Business Administration. She was a woman of strong faith and convictions and was passionate about politics. She expressed interest in public service after retirement.
Ruth is survived by her children, Colette Marie Wiley and Ryan David (Theresa) Hack; grandchildren, Carissa Marie Wiley, Micayla Ann Wiley, Trey David Hack, and Aryana Lynn Hack; sister, Deanna Kay (Donald) Torres; and brother-in-law, Ellis Line. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Patricia Jean Line and Cheri Lynn (Jeff) Carlson.
Funeral Service is 12:00 PM Wednesday, January 17, at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Covington Knolls, 8325 Covington Road, Fort Wayne with calling one hour prior. Friends and family will also be received on Tuesday, January 16 from 2:00PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Covington Knolls, 8325 Covington Road, Fort Wayne.
Interment at Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
