Ryan N. Perkins, 45, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2026. He was born on January 19, 1980, in Payson, Utah. He was the devoted husband of Beth Perkins and the loving father of Elliott and Libby Perkins. Ryan will be remembered for his quiet generosity that sent ripples throughout each sphere of influence in his life. The consistent rhythms of his days set him up for success to be present when his family needed him most, always with love and humor.
Ryan was a friend, a mentor, and a leader to his clients and colleagues alike. Over 25 years, he built a financial practice that reflected his personal values of generosity, compassion, and expertise while inspiring those around him to carry these same values forward. Ryan was a founding partner and managing director of Clearwater Private Wealth Advisors, where he demonstrated the meaning of service to others. Ryan’s professional career was a testament to his character as many of his client relationships transcended into lifelong friendships.
Ryan’s drive for excellence carried over into his physical training, where he was known to come alongside his fellow athletes to challenge and encourage them as they pushed through their physical and mental blocks to achieve their own goals. Ryan always found ways to build friendships and motivate his community through local 5K races to ultramarathons and everything in between.
Ryan lived in a way that made everyone around him a better person. The greatest way to honor his life is by carrying forward the generosity, humility, and joy that defined him.
Along with his wife and children, Ryan is survived by his mother, Carol (Jeff) Kohrman; father, Steven Perkins; sisters, Danielle (Jacob) Phillips and Cristi (Brent) Decker; and many nieces and nephews.
