Sandra S. Gerken, 83, of Fort Wayne, IN. passed away on July 19, 2023, at her nephew’s home in Ithaca, NY. She was born June 21, 1940, in Muncie, IN the daughter of the late, Naoma and William Hart. She attended Muncie Central High School and Ball State University. Sandra was a Speech Language Pathologist at Fort Wayne Community School for 40 years. She was a member of NEA, ISTA, FWEA, Indiana Speech Language Hearing Association, Delta, Kappa, Gamma.
Sandra is survived by her nephews, Chip (Lisa) Etchison of Muncie, IN; Todd (Lisa Boquist) Etchison of Ithaca, NY; Dirk (Ulrike) Etchison of Van Nuys, CA; and 6 great nieces and nephews, Skylar, Daniel, Maxine, Lucy, Henry and Liam
She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 46 years, Larry E. Gerken in 2014, sister Nancy (Jan) Etchison in 2018.
