Sandra Ann Parker-Hale

Sandra Ann Parker Hale, passed away on October 17, 2025, God our Father saw it fitting that “Sann” take her final rest at the age of 58. She was a current resident of Detroit, Michigan. Sandra was born in Adamsville, Alabama, to Lana Joyce Smith and John Edward Parker on January 22, 1967.

She was educated at Snider High School and later pursued a career as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), where she dedicated her life to caring for others.

Sandra was baptized alongside her oldest daughter, Brittany, in the early 2000s and lived her life with faith and love at the center of everything she did.

On October 12, 2018, Sandra was united in holy matrimony to Bennie Hale. From that day forward, she devoted her life to being a caring, loving, and faithful wife — a devotion she held true to until her passing.

Sandra truly enjoyed cooking, baking, and crafting. She was known to collect cookbooks, reflecting her love for food and preparing meals for those closest to her. She found joy in shopping, playing bingo, and making others laugh. Above all, she loved spending time with family and friends. Her greatest pleasure came from loving and giving to those who were an extension of her — her children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother Beulah Smith, grandfather Joe McCullum, father John Edward Parker, mother Lena Joyce Smith, cousin Regina McCullum, nephews Kamari Washington and William Fett, niece Amanda Fett, and special friend Laura (Church) Carter.

Sandra leaves to cherish her memory, her devoted husband Bennie Hale; children Brittany Parker (TN), Heaven Parker (GA), Jaelen Parker (IN), and Jaeden Parker (IN); grandchildren Infinity Parker and Essence Clark; sisters Annette (Raymond) Washington (IN), Tracy Parker (NC), and Lana (Teontra) Noel (TX); special loved ones, aunts Donna Smith and Bonnie Black; nephew Kamari Chaney; close friend Tina Lindsey; and a host of relatives, friends, and loved ones.

The funeral service will be at 12:30 pm. Saturday, November 1, 2025, at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home 1140 Lake Ave. Fort Wayne, IN 46805, with visitation from 11:00 am until the time of service.
