Sara Margaret Crapser, age 79, passed away and was welcomed home into Jesus's arms on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She was born at Fort Sill, in Lawton, Oklahoma during World War II to her parents, Otis and Leah Clark. Sara graduated from Northside High School in Fort Wayne, while graduating with and marrying the love of her life, Ned Crapser who preceded her in death.
Sara was a professional florist and worked at Corner Florist for many years, while always helping friends and family with their wedding and floral needs on her own time working out of her home, even after retirement. She loved helping friends and seeing others enjoying her floral creations.
Sara possessed a strong faith and was a member of St John's Lutheran Church Lake Township for over 50 years, and enjoyed participating in the women's bible studies and making friends. Sara loved cooking for her family and grandkids, outdoor gardening, and her love of flowers was strong. Her greatest love was spending time with her friends, son, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Melanie Crapser; three grandchildren, Vaughn Crapser, Courtney Crapser, and Casie Crapser. Sara has two surviving brothers, Tom (Kristine) Clark, Barry (Diane) Clark; and a sister Pat (Jon) Mix; along with several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at St John's Lutheran Church located at 7914 W Cook Rd., Fort Wayne, Indiana, 46818 with visitation from 11:00 to 1:00 PM.
