Sean Goodpaster

Sean Thomas Goodpaster, 40, of Fort Wayne passed away on July 21, 2026. He was born on November 1, 1985, in Fort Sill, Oklahoma. Sean worked at Dryers for several years. He was a member of the Fort Wayne music scene, playing in the following bands, Blud Spyre, Midnight Intermission, and Bill's toupee`. Sean had a passion for playing video games, reviewing movies, and watching standup comedy. He was a very selfless person who would give you the shirt off his back. Sean was very sacrificial, kind, and generous. He is survived by his wife, Amanda Goodpaster; special friend, Rachel Fisher; parents, Jim (Teresa) Goodpaster; brothers, AJ Goodpaster and Mika (Brett) Ball; sister, Becca Keys; Blud brothers, Tony Snyder and Roger Ford; mother-in-law, Darcy Howe; brother-in-law, Chris Howe; sister-in-law, Harmony (Jerry) Applegarth; and 10 nieces and nephews. Sean was preceded in death by his son, Griffin Thomas Goodpaster; Blud brothers, Timothy Winchester and Mike Delica; and father-in-law, George Howe. A celebration of life will be held from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Sunday, August 2, 2026, at 661 Greenlawn Avenue Fort Wayne, Indiana 46808. Memorial contributions can be made to the family.
