Sharon A. Knisely, 83, passed away Friday, March 2, 2018 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. Born in Auburn, IN, Sharon worked as a central service technician with Parkview Hospital for 20 years, retiring in 2000. She was a member of Forest Park United Methodist Church and Trinity Chapter Eastern Star #576 being the past secretary and past Matron-Associate Matron for 2000. Surviving are her daughters, Laverna K. Reaves of Avon, IN, Kathleen (Wade) P. Short of Kendallville, IN, and Karen S. Sutphin of Brownsburg, IN; 7 Grandchildren; 14 Great-Grandchildren; and two brother-in-law, Stan (Terry) Knisely of FL and Ernie Knisely of Uniondale, IN. Sharon was preceded in death by husband, LaVern A. Knisely; father, Arthur G. Rainier; mother, Velma Rainier; and son, Thomas M. Knisely. Service is 1:30 pm, Monday, March 5, 2018 at D.O. McComb & Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Road with Rev. Kathie S. Jones officiating. Calling at D.O.
