Sharon A Rigdon

Sharon A. Rigdon, 77, passed away on October 24, 2017. She was born in Fort Wayne, IN on May 15, 1940, the daughter of the late Ernst and Christine Timme. Sharon worked as an acquisitions manager at the Allen County Public Library for 37 years until retirement. She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, as well as Stephen Ministry, CASA, and Christ Care. Sharon also was a lover of cats. She is survived by her children; Chris (Lilia) Rigdon, Jeff (Shelley) Rigdon, Phil (Jamelyn) Rigdon; grandsons, Ian Laird, and Kyle Rigdon; granddaughters, Nya and Alyssa Rigdon; and sister-in-law, Evelyn Timme. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy W. Rigdon; and brother, Walter Timme. Funeral service will be 11AM Saturday, October 28, 2017 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 3705 S. Anthony Blvd., Fort Wayne, IN 46806, with calling 1 hour prior. Visitation will take place on Friday, October 27, 2017 at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park 1140 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne, IN 46805 from 4-8pm. Burial will take place in Concordia Cemetery Gardens, Fort Wayne, IN. Memorial contributions may be made to CASA or Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
