Sharon Irene Schoppman, 64, passed away on Friday, June 27, 2025. Born on December 17, 1960, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Sharon was a much beloved mother, sister, grandma and friend. She attended Elmhurst High School, and received her associate’s degree from Ivy Tech. Sharon cherished the simple moments in life and never met a stranger. She was a passionate reader with Danielle Steel’s books holding a special place on her bookshelf. Thomas Kinkade was an artist she also admired, owning a diverse collection of his work. Sharon also loved putting puzzles together and always had fun challenging her sharp mind. Beyond all else, Sharon’s heart belonged to her family, whom she loved fiercely. Sharon is survived by her daughter, Brandy (Adam) Royer; grandchildren, Alex Bradley and Dylan Royer; stepmother, Barbara Wagner; siblings, Sandra Miles, Michael Wagner, and Susie Finkhousen; and stepbrother, Ed Strader. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Rosemary Wagner; and brothers, Clifford Wagner and Steven Wagner. A celebration of life for Sharon will be held at a later date. Sharon will be missed greatly by all who knew her. The memories she made with others will always be treasured in their hearts.
