SHARON LUCILLE SIMPSON, 73, of Fort Wayne, died on Monday, Oct. 5, 2015, at Parkview Regional Medical Center. Born May 13, 1942, in Fort Wayne, she was a daughter of the late Donald McCollister and Petra (Harter) McCollister. She was a service team leader with Meijer, retiring in 2009. She was a member of Pathway Christian Church. Surviving are her son, Scott (Beth) Mullins of Jimmerson Lake, Angola; daughter, Shary Simpson of Fort Wayne; son, Donnie Simpson of Monroeville, Ind.; sister, Mary Kay (Dave) Zurbrugg of Fort Wayne; two grandchildren, Kayla Simpson of Fort Wayne; Jennifer Samudio of Fort Wayne; and two great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Donald Simpson. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 9, 2015, at C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, 1327 N. Wells St., Fort Wayne, with The Rev. Murray Clugston officiating. Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8, 2015, at the funeral home. Burial in Highland Park Cemetery.
