My sweet aunt Kay, it has been a year today since your passing.  I miss our weekly phone calls and I love you dearly!!!

A neighbor in Tower Heights

Kay, our neighborhood will never be the same without you dear.  I just loved your kindness, caring and compassion you always showed to everyone, especially me and Bea!  Thank you for our pizza parties, candy eggs and prayers.  The parties were very nice and enjoyable eating and socializing with you and others too.  I will always cherish those times and memories we had together! I have cried many times over our loss of you.  I know I shouldn't because you are in a much better place now with the Lord, pain-free and reunited with family and friends who left the earth before you.  It was just such a shock to me because I thought everything was going to be ok and we would see each other again down the road.  I have thought about things over and over and I wonder if you had a feeling, a dream, or a talk with God, and knew something was going to happen because at our last get together, you made a statement "you just never know" , then you walked me out to my car and hugged me harder than you ever had before.  You told me you loved me too,  which you had done before,  but this time it was louder, more firm and with conviction,  so now I will always wonder and think about it.  Anyway all of us neighborhood friends on Mardigras Lane already miss you terribly and will continue to do so, just as your family/loved ones do too. I am so sorry to hear of Kay's Passing, love and prayers for all my family. She was always such a joy to be around when I was a child and always made me fill loved.  She will be missed dearly.

My dear aunt Kay, you will be missed. I am going to miss hearing your voice every weekend when you call to check on us.  I love you.  My thoughts and prayers are with the family.  May God bless you and comfort you!
