Shawn McKenna Lindsey Sr.

Shawn McKenna Lindsey Sr. 60, passed away February 18, 2024 at Parkview Hospital Randallia among his family. He was born July 5, 1963, in Fort Wayne, IN, to the late Richard D. Lindsey Sr. and Phyllis Miller, whom survives of Fort Wayne, IN. He graduated from South Side High School in 1983.

Shawn is a US Army Veteran enlisting in 1983, serving until he was honorably discharged. Upon completion, he became a Security Guard at Glenbrook Mall and the Fort Wayne Newspaper. Those who knew Shawn, knew he enjoyed taking care of his fish, listening to music, and tinkering on his computer.

He is survived by his children, Shawn (Ashleigh) Lindsey Jr., Rebecca (Nick) Sakellariou, Donovan Lindsey all of Fort Wayne, and Megan Lindsey of Churubusco, IN; siblings, Dawn Lindsey, Richard Lindsey of Fort Wayne, IN and Robert Lindsey of Marion, IN; and four grandchildren.

A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. All memorial contributions can be made to the Humane Fort Wayne.
