Shirley A. Deschler

Shirley A. Deschler, 88, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away on Monday, June 20, 2022. Born on February 18, 1934, in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Ann Elizabeth Friar. Shirley is survived by her children, Richard Felts, Diana Felts, Michael Reich, and Maureen Reich-Cuney; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and brother, Wayne Friar of Florida; step-children, Michael Deschler Jr., Teresa (Gregory) Gallaway, Michelle (Harold) Dant, Andrea Deschler, and Lesly Deschler; and two step-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Michael L. Deschler Sr., in 2009; and brothers, Jack and Gene Friar. A funeral service to honor Shirley's life will be held at 10:00am on Thursday, June 30, 2022, at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior. Calling will also be held from 1:00pm to 4:00pm on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne.
