She is also survived by nephew, Donnie (Sheila) Grider; grandnephew, Drew Grider; and grandniece Hannah Grider, all of Maryville, Tennessee. Shirley was preceded in death by her beloved brother, Donnie Grider, who died in September of 1980. Larry and family, I am so sorry for your loss. Shirley was always so sweet and kind to me when I worked at Klaehn, Fahl and Melton. She was a beautiful person. I pray that God will be with you and your family during this difficult time. Know that you are never lone and that Shirley is still in your heart always. I will continue to keep you in my prayers. If you ever need a friend to talk to know that I am here. You and the other people I worked with were always like a family to me. I always appreciated that. God bless you.

Larry and Family,
So sorry to read about your loss of Shirley, a supportive wife and a good mother I'm sure.
Your life will be much different now, I lost my wife July 5, 2017, and I'm still trying to figure out what the new norm will be. As a fellow funeral director you and I both know all about the grieving process and recovery. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Dear Larry and family,
I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Shirley. I worked with her during the Lincoln Life years. Shirley had such great love for her son Terry... so many family stories. I will always cherish her friendship. My deepest sympathy to all.
