Sophia Marie Stroman

Sophia was a loving wife, mother, sister, neighbor, and friend. Sophia was the ninth of nine children born to Sylvester and Eva Williamson. Her husband, William T. Stroman and her son, William David Stroman, preceded her in death along with her parents, and siblings Haskel Williamson, Hershel Williamson, Josephine Williamson, Aline Wooldridge, Pauline Goggans, Donald Williamson, J.W. Williamson, and Jack Williamson. Sophia worked alongside her husband, William T. Stroman, in their family owned pharmacies for many years. She loved the work and the people she met each day. She enjoyed working in the yard where she lived for 65 years in Dallas. Her loving dog, Sweetie, was her close companion for the last four years. She will be missed by all those who loved her so dearly. Survivors include daughter, Teresa Beerman, grandson Spenser Beerman, and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held for Sophia M. Stroman at a later date. Interment will be at Oakland Memorial Park in Terrell, Texas.
