Stanley "Stan the Man" Lynn Crider, 90, passed away on Friday, March 7, 2025. He was born on September 10, 1934 to the late Franklin L. and Elizabeth (Smith) Crider. Stan was a hardworking man who contributed to countless beautiful ornamental structures in the Fort Wayne area, including the Glenbrook Mall Fountain that we all know and have enjoyed for years. He and his granddaughter, Michele, worked together to create media content, where people soon began to love Stan, and also gifted him the name "Stan the Man". He is survived by his daughter, April (Terry) Leu; son, Jeff Crider; granddaughter, Michele (Emily) Crider; and grandsons, Toby Crider and Matthew Crider. Stan is preceded in passing by his beloved wife, Joan (Sawyer) Crider; and all of his brothers. A private family service will be held at a later time. Stan's final resting place will be beside his wife in Lindenwood Cemetery.
