

Born on January 12, 1956, in Fort Wayne, Stan was the beloved son of the late Earl Richard Sr. and Verna Mae Richard and the fifth of nine children. A proud graduate of Indiana University, he became a respected entrepreneur, mentor, philanthropist, and community leader.
As Founder and CEO of Summitline Industries, Stallion, and Pinnacle, Stan built a legacy of excellence, creating employment opportunities for 150 people. His companies earned numerous honors, including the FedEx Platinum Supplier of the Year Award and the Verizon Supplier Excellence Award, while serving major corporations throughout the United States and abroad.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Stan was deeply committed to his faith, family, and community. He served on the boards of United Way of Fort Wayne and the Allen County Public Library and was actively involved with My Brother's Keeper, mentoring young African American men.
Stan's greatest joy was his family. He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife, Cassandra Richard; his beloved son, Andrew (Drew) Richard; bonus children Alexandra Kuta and Rodney Dumbar; his three beautiful grandchildren; his sisters, Diane Underwood, June Parker, Karen Richard, Denise Richard, and Lisa (Virgil) Pearson; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, friends, and colleagues.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Cheryl Richard-Townsend, and his brothers, Earl Richard, Jr., and Kim Richard.
Stan will be remembered for his wisdom, generosity, integrity, and unwavering commitment to helping others succeed.
