

Stephanie A. Dunsire, 74, passed away Sunday, October 29, 2017. Born in Worcester, MA, Stephanie was the daughter of the late Jacob and Alice Mooradian. Stephanie earned her bachelor's degree in history from Mount Holyoke College (1965) and her MBA from University of Connecticut (1977). She was a secondary school teacher with Worcester School Systems for four years before working at Worcester Science Center (known now as New England Science Center) for three years, and was the Curator of Education for the Stamford Museum of Science for six years. Stephanie then continued her working career as Director of Sales Promotion with Paul Revere Insurance Co. for 13 years, prior to her retirement. She was a member of the Literacy Alliance, a board member and volunteer of the YMCA in Worcester, MA, and an avid volunteer, supporter and fund raiser for Science Central, and an active member of the Graham owners club. She enjoyed motor-homing, knitting, reading, and golf. Surviving are her brother, James (Alyce) Mooradian of West Des Moines, IA; step-daughter, Barbara (Robin) Belanger of Homestead, FL; daughter-in-law, Diana Dunsire of Stanwood, WA; granddaughters: Colette (Brian) Liska of Montgomery, IL, Alison (Joe) Dunsire of Everett, WA, Lanette (Keith) Semple of Aurora, IL, and Elizabeth Dunsire of Everett, WA; great-granddaughters: Charlotte and Coralynn Liska and Rowan Semple; nephew, Stephen (Dawn) Mooradian and children Jake and Ellie, of Des Moines, IA; niece, Kristin (Tom) Morton and Megan and Caitlin, of Anaheim, CA; and first cousin, Warren (Sarah) Eresian of Silver Spring, MD. Stephanie was preceded in death by her husband, P. Kenneth Dunsire in 2014. Service is 11:00 am, Thursday, November 2, 2017 at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road with calling from 9:00 am until the service, Rev. David Mitchell officiating. Burial in Highland Park Cemetery, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Memorials may be made to the Allen County SPCA, Erin's House for Grieving Children.
