Obituary of Stevan David Price
Stevan David Price, age 74, of Laotto, Indiana passed away on Monday, April 8, 2024. He was born October 18, 1949 in Wolf Lake, Ind. to the late James and Barbara (Kortz) Price. Steve graduated from Columbia City High School, Class of '68. He would proudly serve our nation during the Vietnam War in the United States Army National Guard. Steve was the founder and proud owner of Price Machine & Tool, Inc. located in Laotto, Ind. for over 46 years. Steve had many interests and hobbies ranging from hot rods to antiques. Whether watching NASCAR, riding motorcycles, or attending car shows with Joyce, he was a gearhead at heart and owned several classic cars but favored his '62 Chevy Stepside Truck and a few John Deere's were always in the garage. Steve collected varied sports memorabilia and antiques, amassing an impressive depression era glass collection. He also enjoyed watching IU Basketball and attending various concerts of all musical genres. Steve is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Joyce M. Price; children, Adam (Tarla) Price of Warsaw, Ill. and Megan (Ryan) Price-Lundy; grandchildren, Taylor Price, Theda (Brian) Mandel, Gage Price and Emery Lundy; two great-grandchildren; brother, Jim (Deb) Price, several nieces and nephews and faithful friend "Skipper" the dog. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Barb (Dale) Hudson, Matt Price, and Mark Price. Celebration of Life is 1:00 pm, Saturday, April 20 at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Pine Valley, 1305 E. Dupont Rd with calling one hour prior. Friends and family will also be received 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday, April 19 at the Funeral Home.
