Steven “Steve” D. Johnson, 76, of New Haven, went to be with His Lord on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at Premier Healthcare in Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, Steve was a graduate of Elmhurst High School, class of 1959, and retired from International Harvester after 27 years. He was a member of North Park Community Church. He is survived by his children, Dawn Johnson, Lynn (David) Marks, and Kevin (Karen) Johnson; siblings, Patricia (Adrian) Dobbins and Keith (Karen) Johnson; niece, Melissa (John) Helmsing; nephews, Marc (Lisa) Johnson, Scott (Chinn) Ritter, and Michael (Sherri) Ritter; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren. Steve was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Johnson; parents, Frederic Johnson and Dorothy Schinbeckler; sister, Rebecca; nieces, Ann and Cynthia Ritter; and nephew, Chad Johnson. Funeral Service will be Noon on Monday, January 29, 2018 at Advantage Funeral Home, 2403 E. Wallen Rd., Fort Wayne, with calling two hours prior. Pastor Terry Habegger Officiating.
