Steven Ray Steiger

Steven Ray Steiger, age 57, of Fort Wayne, IN passed away on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at St. Joseph Hospital in Fort Wayne. Steve was born on June 27, 1961 in Bucyrus, OH to Otto Richard and Jeanne (Sharrock) Steiger. Steve graduated from Wynford High School 1981 and then continued his education at Findlay University where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in finance. While in college, he worked for Pfeifer Dairy Farms. After college, he worked for USDA as an auditor. On August 12, 1989, he married Kelly Donnenwirth in Shelby, OH. Steve loved golf, playing pool, and casinos. He was fun loving, generous, and could lighten up a room with his smile and one of a kind laugh. He will be missed by his loved ones and friends. Survivors include his spouse, Kelly Steiger of Fort Wayne, his parents of Bucyrus, OH, brother, Ritchie (Christa) Steiger, of Bucyrus, OH, nephews; Shaun and Wesley Steiger both of Columbus, OH. Steve was preceded in death by all grandparents and his brother, Michael Steiger. Funeral service will be held on Monday, November 12, 2018 at 2:00 pm with calling 3 hours prior from 11 am -2:00 pm at D.O. McComb and Sons Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46825.
