Steven Lee Stroup Sr., 79, passed away Thursday, May 17, 2018 surrounded by family. Steve was a loving, caring, husband and father. Born in Sturgis, MI, to Walter and Mabel Stroup. Steve was the CEO of HVAC Machine Company. He was a member of Emmanuel Community Church. He was known for 36 patents he created for the HVAC industry. Surviving are his wife of 59 years, Loretta Stroup, son, Steve (Laurie) Stroup of Fort Wayne, IN,daughter, Angela (Greg) Peck of Logansport, IN, brother Clay (Phoebe) Stroup of Indianapolis, IN, brother, Danny (Karen) Stroup of Bronson, MI, sister, Jeannine Geans of Elk Grove, CA, grandchildren; Victoria, Jessica, Jami, Steven, Timothy, Hannah, Benjamin, and Sarah; and great grandchildren; James and Emma. Steve was preceded in death by parents Walter and Mabel Stroup. Service is 1:00 pm, May 21, 2018 at The Chapel, 2505 W. Hamilton Road with calling an hour prior.
