She was survived by her children, Gina (Bob) Thomas, of Fort Wayne and Leila Wheaton, of Churubusco; a brother, Virgil (Cherie) Burke, of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Ben (Alicia) Wheaton, of Churubusco, Brianna (Nasir) Bajwa, of Chicago, Cameron (Kaleigh) Thomas, of Fort Wayne, Nicole (Olvin) Thomas, of Fort Wayne and Cody (Brittany) Thomas of Fort Wayne; great-grandchildren, Ben Wheaton, of Churubusco, Kayla Wheaton, of Churubusco, Zoya Bajwa, of Chicago, Clara Thomas, of Fort Wayne and Tinley Thomas, of Fort Wayne.
Visitation will be on Sunday, July 26, 2026, at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes- Pine Valley, 1320 East Dupont Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46825, from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm, with a Funeral Service to begin at 4:00 pm.
