Susana Pama Draper

Susana Pama Draper, 60, of LaOtto, Ind., entered eternal life on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at her home with her family by her side. Born October 28, 1960 in San Dionisio, Iloilo, Philippines, she was a daughter of the late Domingo and Herminia Pama. A graduate of San Dionisio Municipal High School, she furthered her education at the University of Iloilo, graduating with a Bachelor Degree of Science in Agriculture. She married her husband, Michael Draper, on June 28, 2010 and was the most beautiful and kind wife that a man could have. She took great pride in making her own wedding dress for her special day. Susan was a hard worker and master of all trades. With her many talents, she truly reflected a Proverb 31 woman and embraced Jesus. Most evident was when she accepted her two year battle with cancer with no complaints and carried her cross with joy into eternity. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Ege in LaOtto, Ind., for over 10 years. She enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting, growing and butchering her own food, entertaining family and friends, canning, and cooking. Her most famous dish was her homemade eggrolls. Susan also enjoyed gardening and was very proud of her beautiful flowers and gardens. A mother to all she met, she never knew a stranger and was a loving sister, aunt, and friend. Susan’s legacy will live on through all of the lives she touched. She was woven into all the hearts she met. She is survived by her husband, Mike Draper of LaOtto, Ind; brothers, Jesus V. Pama, Domingo V. Pama Jr., Jaypee Pama, Dave Martin Pama, and Martin John Pama; sisters, Delia P. Baldoza, Dominga P. Alkonga, Edna V. Pama, and Ma. Liberty P. Azucena; many nieces, nephews, cousins; and a host of friends. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Asuncion V. Pama; and brothers, Rodolfo V. Pama and Romeo V. Pama.
