Susie Egly

She is survived by her sister, Barb Sanders (son Wesley). Her cousin, Ron (Marsha) Sanders, was like a brother to her. Susie had a very close relationship with her aunts, uncles, and cousins, and she spent many happy days with them.

On August 1, 1981, Susie walked down the aisle arm in arm with Jerry Egly, and they celebrated 44 years of a God-blessed, loving marriage. Jerry has a son, Jerry Jr. (Randa), with three sons—Ryan, Mitchell, and Kyle—and a daughter, Amy Prince.

She is also survived by her son, Scott (Michelle) Zollinger; granddaughters, Katelyn and Makenna; son, Jeffrey Zollinger; grandsons, Tanner and Reece; nephew, Grant (Erin) Sanders Jr., and their children, Gavin and Taylor; niece, Heather Stevens, and her children, Trinity, McKaylah, Kiley, Eliot, Myles, and Memphis.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Grant Sanders.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at 11 am with calling one hour prior at St. Michael's Lutheran Church, 2131 Getz Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46804.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 pm on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, Greenlawn Funeral Home, 6750 Covington Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46804.

The burial will take place in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Ft. Wayne, IN.
