Suzan Ivy Leakey
June 15, 1958 – January 16, 2021
Suzan Ivy Leakey, 62, of Auburn, IN, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 16, 2021 in her home, surrounded by her kids and husband. Born June 15, 1958 in Anaheim, CA, she was a daughter of the late Ronald Charles Phillips and Ida Marie Phillips who survives. She married James Leakey on October 4, 1997, they were madly in love with one another. She enjoyed spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren. One of her greatest blessings was being a grandmother. She will always be remembered for her smile, laughter and dancing with family in her kitchen. She enjoyed spending time at the lake and reading Stephen King books. She is also survived by her loving husband, James Leakey; daughter, Christina White (Guy); son, Jimmy Leakey (Tayler); grandchildren, Kyle Ferrell, Michael Ferrell, and Adalyn Leakey (her baby girl); great-grandchildren, Navayla, Zyliana, and Braelyn; siblings, Kenny Phillips (Jaimie), Kelly Keough, Mark Phillips (Renea), Tracy Gantt (Scott), Brian Phillips, and Ronnie Phillips (Missy); and Jim Alder, plus multiple nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Robert Phillips. Visitation is on Friday, January 29, 2021 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm at Advantage-Highland Park, 2403 East Wallen Road, Fort Wayne. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to a homeless shelter of your choice. For online condolences, please visit www.advantagehighlandpark.com.
