Tamara "Tammy" L Perkins

Tamara "Tammy" L. Perkins, 65, passed away on Saturday, February 24, 2024. Tammy was born August 11, 1958, the daughter of Charles Fortner and Verna (Metheney) Maurer. She is survived by her husband of 10 years, Robert "Bob" Perkins. Tammy had a caring heart and enjoyed helping people, whether it was when she was a CNA or working as a Medicaid driver. Her favorite past time was Bingo. Tammy is survived by her husband Bob; a daughter, Bonnie Kissinger; two sons, Donald Kissinger Jr. and Scott Sweet. Also surviving is a sister, Debbie Hanson; two brothers, Roger Fortner and Michael Maurer. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Joyce Gilbert, Carla Fortner and a brother, Chuck Fortner. A Celebration of Life gathering will be held Friday, March 8, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM with a celebration of Tammy's life beginning at 4:00 PM, at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 6750 Covington Road, Fort Wayne. An inurnment will be Saturday, August 10, 2024 at 1:00 PM in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 6750 Covington Road, Fort Wayne.
