Taylor Shalise Carswell

Taylor Shalise Carswell, 29, passed away Thursday, October 14, 2021 at Parkview Hospital Randallia. She was born October 25, 1991 in Fort Wayne, IN to Michael Carswell and the late Elora Carswell. She attended South Side High School. Taylor was a member of Greater Spirt of Love Church and was the Praise and Worship Team Leader/Member. As a child her parents kept her active in church events. As a part of the children’s ministry outreach, GSOL Drill Team, choir, Purity Class Taylor traveled with her mother, grandmother, Auntie Paula & Bobbie to church events and activities. As a part of the puppet ministry she went on mission trips or to conventions. She was an accomplished musician she was not only a drummer for GSOL, but she used her gifts at Life Changing Ministries, Canaan Baptist Church and other churches. Taylor loved to draw. A gift inherited from her Mom. Taylor could SING. Her true colors appeared when leading GSOL’s Praise & Worship, or singing with the choir or for her Uncle Bug. She is survived by her father Michael Carswell of Fort Wayne, IN; sibilings, Michael A. Curry, Donte Curry, Quincy Henderson, David Carswell, and Isaiah Terry. Elora Michelle “Shelly” Carswell, Zion M. Carswell. Taylor is also is survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, and cousinsS. Taylor was preceded in death by her mother Elora, and brother Darius Malone, her grandparents Pastor Paul & Mo. Shirley Taylor Issac and Gracie Carswell.. Funeral Service will be 11 am Friday October 29, 2021 at Greater Spirit of Love Church 6116 S. Calhoun Street Fort Wayne, IN. with visitation one hour prior.
