Terita Diann Breuning

Terita Diann Breuning, 65, passed away on Friday, November 10, 2017. She was born in Peru, Indiana, and graduated from Peru High School and International Business College. She worked for Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company, Light & Breuning, Inc., and was a homemaker. She co-founded the Crohn's Disease Support Group in 1990 and helped hundreds of people suffering from IBD. Memberships include St. Michael Lutheran Church and Sycamore Hills Golf Club. She enjoyed family, flowers, and friends. She was a loving wife, mother, and source of encouragement to others. Surviving are her husband, Tim; son Michael; brother Jess (Nga) Strom; sister Sandy Basey; father in-law Willi (Ilene) Breuning; and sister in-law Christine (Perry) Morgan. Preceding in death are her parents, Ernest and Roseanna Strom; and siblings Ernie Strom and Lee Strom. Services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 15, 2017, at St. Michael Lutheran Church, 2131 Getz Road, with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 14, 2017, at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, 6424 Winchester Road. Preferred memorials are to United Ostomy Association Chapter 51. Burial will be in Lindenwood Cemetery.
