Tim and Michael,
We want to express our deepest sympathy.
We'll keep Terita in our hearts, a wonderful person , always friendly and funny.
Helping others made her happy. She made our stay in Fort Wayne unforgettable because of her valuable advice and support.
We will keep the time she was with us as a treasure and send you the words of consolation from Dietrich Bonhoeffer:
Je schöner und voller die Erinnerung,
desto schwerer ist die Trennung.
Aber die Dankbarkeit verwandelt die Erinnerung
In eine stille Freude.
Man trägt das vergangene Schöne nicht wie einen Stachel,
sondern wie ein kostbares Geschenk in sich.

I am shocked and saddened to see of Terita's passing. Our relationship began as a professional nurse/ patient one but quickly became so much more than that. I looked forward to our visits. We have kept in touch over the years and I will truly miss her.

Terita was such a terrific friend for many years. We could talk, laugh, and cry together and shared so many precious events together. I miss her already, but she will always be in my heart. We could walk, talk, and just do simple things together to make a great visit. She loved her family, and had a huge concern for many, many others. Her sincerity, outreach, and caring exemplified her wonderful character. God has truly received another angel!

So sorry to hear of the passing of Terita. She was such a caring kind soul. We graduated High School together and re-connected by FB many years later. She was always so caring and encouraging to me during my husbands cancer battle and his passing last year. Prayers and condolences for the family at this time.

We feel so sorry and we will miss Terita so much - her humor, her kindness, the conversations we held. We will always remember the times we spent together in Fort Wayne, in Dettingen and all the other places we went. Tim and Michael, we know you did everything for her - and she did everything for her family. You are in our thoughts.

Terita was there for so many people over the years, including me as a grumpy teenager. I hope that she knew how much she was loved in her community. I am crushed that she is gone. Thinking of you Tim and Michael.
