Terrance "Terry" A. Riegling

Terrance "Terry" A. Riegling, 69, of Angola, IN, formerly of Fort Wayne, passed away in his home on Thursday, May 23, 2019. Born August 4, 1949, in Fort Wayne, he was the son of the late Nicholas and Annamarie Riegling. Terry was a 1968 graduate of Central Catholic High School. He was an Eagle Scout recipient (which is the highest honor in scouting) and he served as a Knight of Columbus. Upon graduation, he entered the work force where he made many life-long friends. He retired from General Electric as a Supervisor and Machinist, after 36 years of dedication to the company. Terry loved God and was a faithful Catholic. He loved his family and being outdoors. He was ready and willing to help anyone in need even without being asked. Terry was always selfless and humble. He enjoyed camping, mudding with his 4-wheelers and Jeeps, playing cards, and watching Westerns. Terry spent his years after retirement communicating with nature, working in his woods, and stayed busy building up his homestead. He enjoyed his precious Poodle dogs, Lady and Angel "aka" Devil, who were always at his side and followed him everywhere. But most of all, he loved his three children and six grandsons. He will be missed.

He is survived by his children, Christina (Mark) Robinson, Tony (Cheri) Riegling, and Angela (Chris) Arnett; six beloved grandsons, Jacob Robinson, Nate Robinson, Anthony Arnett, Alex Arnett, Jayce Riegling, and Cameron Riegling; his former spouse, friend, and mother of his children, Mary; brothers, Gerald Riegling, Gary (Sandy) Riegling; sisters, Mary Lou Mattes, Rosemarie Hearn, Dianna (Joe) Worrell, Suzanna Nichter, and several dear nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by sisters, Catherine Couture and Annita Willis.

Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at 1:00 pm at C.M. Sloan and Sons Funeral Home (1327 N. Wells Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46808) with visitation beginning at 11:00 am until the time of service. Burial will follow at Highland Park Cemetery.
