

Terri Lee Guerrini, age 59, loving mother, sister, aunt, friend, and adoring Oma, passed away August 4, 2024, at her home in Fort Wayne, IN. She was born October 25, 1964 in Indianapolis, IN to Millard Filmore and Mary Alice (Sparks) Horton.
She graduated from Southport High School in 1983 where she was an avid member of the concert and marching bands. She attended Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis before she started her career with Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield in 1984. Over her almost 40-year career with Anthem, she was able to work her way up from a customer service associate to software tester and eventually project manager. She was an extremely hardworking and loyal employee and enjoyed the work that she did. In 2022 she began working for Tek Stream and was contracted to NASCO Insurance Company as a software project manager.
Family was the center of Terri’s world along with her close relationship with God. She was a member of BSF for many years and enjoyed learning about the Lord with her friends and family. She loved spending time with her family and playing all types of card and board games. Any family get together was an opportunity to play some games. She also enjoyed watching college and pro football, as well as college basketball. Terri was an avid Notre Dame, Indianapolis Colts and IU Basketball fan. If the game was on, she wanted to watch it. She was even able to get her son-in-law to watch the games along with her, which for those who know him, know that is quite the feet.
She enjoyed baking for the holidays because she knew how much everyone enjoyed her creations. She would spend several weeks prior to the holidays planning out her schedule to ensure that everyone had their favorite treat. She truly enjoyed bringing happiness to others. Her love and kindness will be remembered and cherished by all that knew her. She is deeply missed.
Terri is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Taylor and Josh Michael of Fort Wayne, IN; grandsons, Beau and Boone Michael; brother and sister-in-law, Donald (Vonda) Horton; and her sister and brother-in-law, Krystal (Jeff) PanKonie; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Family, friends and others who Terri’s life touched are invited to the D.O. McComb and Sons, Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave. Fort Wayne, IN. Funeral Service will be 10:00 am Saturday August 24, 2024 at with visitation one hour prior. Visitation also from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm Friday August 23, 2024, at the funeral home. Private entombment will be at Lindenwood Cemetery.
