

Terri Ann Stewart, 59, entered heaven on June 8, 2026, at Lutheran Hospital of Fort Wayne, IN. She was born on February 10, 1967, in Fort Wayne, IN, the daughter of Charlotte and Everett Stewart.
She graduated from South Side High School in 1986. Terri enjoyed being on the cross-country team at school. She attended Saint Francis College in 1987. Terri gave birth to her only child Jasmine on April 2, 1994. She was an amazing mother. Terri always made sure that Jasmine was supported and well loved.
Terri was confirmed at Saint Peter Catholic Church as a child in the 1970s. She was a strong believer in Christ. She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church since March 24, 2002.
She worked at factories during her early adult years and worked at Walmart for 10 years as a stocker. Terri was part of the team that helped remodeled Walmart South before it opened in 2004. She was known by her co workers as a kind and hardworking woman.
Terri was on dialysis for 15 years and had multiple surgeries during that time frame. She endured two major heart surgeries. Terri fought to the very end.
Terri was a sweet and loving person. She loved working in her garden and tending to her plants. Her favorite color was purple. Terri and Noelle (granddaughter) would spend most of them together in the garden and cooking. Terri‘s lasagna was her best meal by many. Terri enjoyed going out to eat and shopping. Terri favorite places to eat was Red Lobster, Storming Crab, and Cracker Barrel. She had compassion for animals, and especially loved cats. Terri began feeding the community cats in 2004. She enjoyed making crafts and working on crossword puzzles. Terri cherished her time with her family, and her special times with her granddaughters, being a very proud grandma. Terri would always refer to her granddaughters as “the two beauties."
She is survived by her mother, Charlotte Stewart, sister, Michelle Stewart, brother Everett Stewart, daughter Jasmine (James) Underwood, nephew, Michael (Tina) Williams, granddaughters, Noelle and Naveah Underwood. niece, Morgan (Tyler) Stewart. Great nieces, Kehlani, Kayleah, and Kayliana Williams, and special uncle, Otha Bright Senior.
Terri was preceded in death by her father, Everett Stewart Senior, twin brother, Jerry Stewart, maternal grandparents, Maddie and Louis Bright.
Memorial Service will be at Bethlehem Lutheran Church on June 24, Wednesday at 11 am. The address is 3705 South Anthony Blvd, 46806.
