The world lost one of the good ones as the Good Lord came calling with a higher task for Dad May 21st 2024! Terry A. Gardner was born on January 24, 1958 to Margaret and Van W. Gardner (both preceded his death) in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Terry leaves behind his high school sweetheart and wife of 47 years, Tammy; they married at the Lakeside Park & Rose Garden June 19, 1976. The two built their life and family in Huntertown, Indiana where they raised Van Gardner (Cami), Justin Gardner and Brooke Lendzion (Craig). Dad was a very proud Grandfather to Riley, Bre, Paige, JerZee, Bentley, Lily, Sophie and Margaret. Dad too was a caring Brother to Cheri Becker (Mark) as well as Gary Gardner who preceded him in death.
Dad had a drive and a vision to create something big and in 1988 with Mom at his side and three young children at home they took a leap of faith and started GCG Industries, Inc. GCG was built on the same values that Dad embodied in the form of honesty, integrity, hard work and refusing to waiver from those values ever he built a business that will stand the test of time! He has been a leader and mentor for anyone he crossed paths with. Dad was a friend to so many, always willing to lend advice and helping hand to those around him. Dad enjoyed any time well spent with Mom and his family - one who enjoyed fishing, boating, woodworking and building things.
