Terry Ann Weiss, 75, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away on October 12, 2026. Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Terry was the daughter of Barbara Grovemiller and Steven Bumgardner. She attended North Side High School and, after college, built a career in Information Technology.
Throughout her life, Terry was deeply devoted to her family, a steady presence whose kindness and generosity were felt in both quiet and lasting ways. In retirement, she embraced the joy of travel, especially trips to the National Parks, with a special love for destinations marked by mountains and wide-open views. She also enjoyed attending Purdue football games and tailgating with friends, savoring the camaraderie and tradition that came with game days.
Terry’s warmth extended into the everyday moments that make a home: she enjoyed cooking, loved reading, and took pleasure in going to the movies. She also dearly loved dogs. Above all, she leaves behind the legacy of family and friends who love her.
Terry is survived by her husband, Frank Weiss; daughter, Kellie Syndram (Richard); grandchildren, Justin and Andrew Syndram; sisters, Jerri Martin (Joe Kokosa) and Joy Follis (Tom); brother Steven Bumgardner (Kathy); stepsons, Brandon and Nathan Weiss; as well as extended family and close friends.
Visitation will be held on October 17, 2026, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Pine Valley, 1320 E. Dupont Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46825.
