Thelma M. Brandt, 98, passed away on Friday, January 1, 2021 at Elevate Senior Living in Fort Wayne, IN. She was born in Huntington County, IN to the late Frank and Opal (Hare) Higley. She married Theodore C. Brandt in 1976 and he preceded her in death in 2014.Thelma worked as a secretary for Fort Wayne Community Schools for 15 years, retiring in 1985. She was a member of Trinity Chapter of the Eastern Star #576 and Daughter of the Nile #60. Thelma was also a member of Taylor Chapel United Methodist Church in Fort Wayne. Surviving are her son, Kelly (Beth) Clevenger; step-children, Stuart S. (Cindy) Brandt, Linda L. Lakes, and Martha L. (Patrick) Bash; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Thelma was also preceded in death by her first husband, John Clevenger; and daughter, Candance Fifer. Services will be private. To join virtually, please visit the funeral home Facebook page (D.O.
