He graduated from Central Catholic High School and attended Xavier University. Tom retired from NIPSCO. He was an avid Indiana basketball, Notre Dame football & Atlanta Braves fan.
He is survived by his children, Michael (Tamra), Lori (Herre), Mark (Michele) & Matthew (Elizabeth); grandchildren, Holly Chandler Goodrich, Grant Thomas, Drew Thomas, Jacelyn Thomas Valencia; great grandchildren, Gabriel Thomas, Payton Thomas, Parker Thomas, Lily Thomas, Emmie Thomas, Courtney Goodrich and Hunter Goodrich; two sisters, Carolyn (Maurice) Papier & Mary Lynn (Arthur) Loeffler.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters Myra Chandler & G. Jane Etzler; his first wife, Judith Breinfalk Green and second wife, Julie Chandler McIntosh.
A visitation will be on Friday, November 15, 2024, at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Lakeside Park, 1140 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne, Indiana, 46805, from 2:00 – 4:00 pm, with a funeral service following at 4:00 pm.
