Thomas G. Klapheke, 88, died on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at his home in Fort Wayne, IN. He was born in Louisville, KY and is predeceased by his wife Helen (Mayo) Klapheke, parents Rudolph W. and Gertrude (Moyer) Klapheke, and siblings Patricia Meffert, Rudy Klapheke Jr., and James Klapheke. Surviving are his children, Jeffrey G. Klapheke, wife Joyce, Michael S. Klapheke, wife Susan, and Mark T. Klapheke; grandchildren Elizabeth, Alexander, Rachelle, and Catherine; and siblings, Mary Howard, Richard Klapheke, Marty Klapheke, Karen Klapheke, and Trudy Howard. He served honorably from 1953 to 1955 in the United States Navy, during the Korean War, and worked as an engineer for Magnavox for 33 years. After retirement, Tom volunteered at several organizations, including the American Red Cross. He was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church and Northeast Indiana Chiselers & Turners (NEICT).
