Thomas Swain, 82, passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2021at Signature Healthcare in Fort Wayne, Ind. He was born in Uniontown, Alabama to the late Mary Eliza (Swain) Russell. He married Dolly Swain in 1978 and she survives. Thomas worked as a Machinist at DANA, retiring in 2004. Thomas was a motorcycle enthusiast. Surviving are his children, Thomas (Michelle) Swain Jr., Marvin Swain, Melinda (Thomas) Davenport, Michael (Samantha) Swain, Lucas Bergman, and Cameron Smith; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and sister, Betty Russell. Thomas was also preceded in death by daughter, Patricia; and brother, Richard "Nute" Swain. Visitation will be Saturday, February 27, 2021 from 3:30pm to 6:00pm at D.O. McComb and Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Arrangements entrusted by D.O.
