Tommy attended Precious Blood grade school and later graduated from Bishop Dwenger High School in 1988. He went on to attend Purdue University before returning home.
Tommy worked as a bartender at Piere’s Entertainment Center, Flashbacks, Pulver’s Pub and a few other various locations. He was always ready with a quick word of advice, or words of encouragement. He never knew a stranger and made everyone feel welcome. He was currently working at Fill Rite Pump Company in manufacturing.
Tommy struggled throughout his life with addiction and ultimately lost his battle. We rest in the fact that he knew Jesus and was actively pursuing Him amid his suffering.
He is survived by his brothers, Don (Julie) Uecker of Roanoke, IN; Bob Uecker, Jim (Jamie) Uecker, Bill (Sara) Uecker, Jon (Megan) Uecker, and sister, Dani (Mike) Hardy, all of Fort Wayne, IN; fiancé Emily Wicker, and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 pm Wednesday, October 28, 2026, at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home 1140 Lake Ave. Fort Wayne, IN.
