

Todd Alix Whitner, 51, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Sunday, September 26, 2021 at Lutheran Hospital. He was born on September 24, 1970 in Chicago, Ill. A graduate of North Side High School, class of 1989, Todd was employed with Newbold Services. He was previously employed with the 412 Club and Rack and Helen’s Bar and Grill. A sports fanatic, he enjoyed hockey, basketball, baseball, and watching and playing football. His favorite teams were the Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears and he was fond of players, Michael Jordan and Walter Payton. A supporter of North Side High School, he was active in supporting local sports. He was a cheerleader to his children in everything they aspired to do in life and supported his son’s achievements in football. Todd enjoyed cooking and made the best Mexican dishes. He also enjoyed drinking Mountain Dew and eating Little Debbie snack cakes. He is survived by his parents, Thomas (Carol) Whitner of New Haven, Ind.; mother, Cecilia Orlowski of Helena, Mont.; children, Tyson (Caitlyn Rigler) Whitner of Fort Wayne, Dustin Gregory of Fort Wayne, and Megan (Jimmie) Trotter of Fort Wayne; grandson, Nolan Gregory of Fort Wayne; niece, Destiney (David) Rico of Columbia; nephew, Dallas Orlowski of Helena, Mont.; and a host of friends. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Tracy Christianson, stepbrother, Gary Fowler; and stepsister, Karen May. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
