Toni Irene Heiney passed from this earth on September 2, 2021. She was born December 5, 1948, in Huntington, IN to Ted F. Heiney and Ruby I. (Coleman) Heiney. Toni was a graduate of Elmhurst High School (Fort Wayne) and Indiana University (Bloomington). She was employed by Ward Corporation in its purchasing department. She loved animals, going to garage sales, reminiscing about Camp Potawotami (South Milford), and sailing on Lake Michigan. She was a lifelong lover of books. She is survived by her husband William Groh of Lakeport, FL; granddaughter, Amber DeLorey and her wife Carley DeLorey of Fort Wayne; a sister, Karyn L. Heiney; and brother Skye W. Heiney, both of Fort Wayne. She is preceded in death by both her parents and a brother, Dr. Brett A. Heiney. Cremation to be provided by Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services.
