She married her husband, Bernard Holm on, April 23, 1966 in South Bend, Indiana.
Sue is survived by her husband, Bernard Holm of 57 years; a daughter, Christy (Chris) Settecase; a son, Tim (Gigi) Holm; grandchildren, Julie Settecase, Katie (Kaleb) Wilson, Ethan Holm and Alyson Holm.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Ward Harlan; her parents, Carrie and Kenneth Harlan.
Sue graduated from Adams High School in South Bend, then obtained her AS in Accounting, from Ivy Tech, Fort Wayne. Sue worked for Sweet Scents Floral and then for Partners First Credit Union from which she retired.
She was a member of the Rainbow Girls, Eastern Star, Master Gardner for 33 years, The Garden Club of America, AC-ARTS, Fort Wayne Radio Club, Boston Terrier Club of Indiana, Scandinavian Club, Flax and Fleece, Amateur Radio Operator – K9FFZ for 43 years.
A visitation for Sue will be held Wednesday, January 3, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Lakeside Park, 1140 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne, IN 46805.
