V. Darlene McFaul

V. Darlene McFaul, 74, passed away on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at her home in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She was born on December 21, 1951, in Decatur, Indiana, to Ralph Vannette and Edith (Clark) Augsburger. V. Darlene served in the United States Army, and later earned her associate's degree in nursing. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas McFaul; her children, Teresa (Kenneth) Lewis, Lisa (Gerald) Hogan, and Michael Hitner; and step-children, Angela (Shawn) DuLac, Marsha Bolnick, Mandy Michaud. Also surviving V. Darlene are her grandchildren, Kenneth (Danielle), Jasmine (Andrew), Kristin (Brock), Madalyn (A.J.), Nick Hitner, Morgan (Brayton) Hook, Brandon, Ally, and Drew; her great-grandchildren, Meiah, Lilly, Jaqob, Gabe, Kinnley, Theo, Jovie, Ronin, Holten, and Lorna; and her siblings, Linda (Gary) Hodle, Lena Flesher (Kurt), and William (Vickie) Augsburger. V. Darlene was preceded in death by her mother, Edith Augsburger; and her brother, Greg Eyanson. A private family service will be held at a later date.
