Valerie went to Overbrook High School in Philadelphia, PA. She then worked at Kmart. She married Harvey N. Johnson Sr, on May 24, 1958. Valerie was a member of Emmanuel Community Church. She was an avid crafter of wreaths and table arrangements.
Valerie is survived by her son, Harvey (Mary) Johnson; grandsons, Christopher (Taylor), William; great-grandsons, Milo, Levi.
She is preceded in death by her siblings, Jean Percio, Phyllis Ziegler and Reese Barnum.
