Vien Thi Tran

Vien Thi Tran, a devoted wife, mother and grandmother of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away peacefully at home in her sleep on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at the age of 77. She was born in Hue, Vietnam and came to the United States on May 14, 1995. She lived in Ohio and later moved to Indiana making it her home. Vien married the love of her life Luu Phuoc Dang while in Vietnam. She also learned her trade in order to support her family during the Vietnam War. After coming to the United States, she continued her trade as a Nail Technician and strong work ethics. Vien was hardworking and dedicated to her job. Her faith and relationship with Buddha was of utmost importance to her. Despite her small demeanor, Vien had a large heart. Vien was thoughtful, loving, and caring to everyone she met. She would always help with many donations to the Buddhist Community and various charities. Vien in her own special way loved her family dearly. She will be remembered by her husband of 58 years, Luu Phuoc Dang; and children, Bao Dang, Viet Dang, Thuy Dang, Thuyuyen Dang, Vinh Dien Dang and Tuuyen Dang; and 12 beautiful grandchildren; other relatives and friends. A Celebration of Vien's Life with offering of prayers will be 3-5:00 pm Monday, June 10, 2024 at the D.O.
