Violet Ellen Conrad

Violet Ellen Conrad, 96, formerly of Fort Wayne, passed away on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at Cumberland Trace, Plainfield, IN. She was born August 22, 1925 in Decatur, Indiana, daughter of the late Albert P. and Selma E. (Roth) Sprunger. She was a graduate of Monticello High School. Violet worked as a homemaker for most of her life as well as having worked at General Electric and Scott Foam. She is a member at First Missionary Church. Violet is survived by her husband, Homer Edward Conrad, Jr. of Plainfield, IN; son, Larry (Kay) Conrad of Plainfield, IN; brother, Steve (Jackie) Sprunger; grandchildren, Alan (Kristin) Conrad and Amy (John) Conrad; and great grandchildren, Samuel and Ethan Conrad. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Donald Sprunger, Robert Sprunger, and Ronald Sprunger. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 27, 2021 at 4:00 PM at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, 6424 Winchester Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46819 with visitation two hour prior. The family requests that all attendees wear a mask. Burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Memorials in memory of Violet may be made to First Missionary Church, 701 W.
