Virginia M. Cartwright, 64, passed away Tuesday, May 18, 2021 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She was born December 24, 1956 in Fort Wayne, daughter of the late James Quirk and Marvel Jean Quirk-Frye. Virginia was a graduate of South Side High school and worked in distribution at Lutheran Hospital and K-Mart. Surviving is her daughter, Lakiesha Cartwright; sisters, Pat (Ellis) Ryan, Nancy (John) Harmeyer, and Debbie Mignerey; and four grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas W. Cartwright. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at 1:00 pm at D.O. McComb and Sons Foster Park Funeral Home, 6301 Fairfield Avenue, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46807, with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be held Tuesday, May 25, 2021 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
