Virginia “Ginger” Ladd, 85, of Fort Wayne, passed away on May 19, 2021. Born on August 7, 1935, in Fort Wayne, she was a daughter of the late John and Mildred (nee King) Gater. She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church, Fort Wayne, and volunteered in the church pantry. She retired from Rogers Grocery Stores, after 25 years of service, as well as Kohls Department Stores, for 8 years.
She is survived by her daughter, Terri (Phil) Gross, of Fort Wayne; sons, Rick Ladd, Jerry (Laura) Ladd both of Churubusco, IN; grandchildren, Kelly Harber, Jamie, Chris, and Troy Ladd; and sister Carolyn (Bob) Coder. She was also preceded in death by her husband Richard J “Dick” Ladd, in 2008.
Memorial service will be 11:00 am, Thursday, May 27, 2021, at D.O. McComb and Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road, Fort Wayne, with calling from 9:00am, until time of service.
