WALTER BRYAN, 79, of Fort Wayne, passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2011, at Parkview Hospital. Born July 5, 1931, he was the son of the late Ruth (Shriver) and David Bryan. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and worked as a Machinist for Dana for 30 years. Surviving are wife, Dolores; sons, George and Alan Jenkins; daughters, Deborah Randol, Diana Schmidt and Michelle Bryan; stepdaughter, Debbie Bryan; sisters-in-law, Karen Fry, Nancy Peterson, Lorna Raush and Resa Wiggins; brother, Robert Bryan; several nieces and nephews; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Service is 11 a.m. Friday, June 3, 2011 at C.M. Sloan & Sons, 1327 Wells St. with calling one hour prior. Pastor Matthew Leffler officiating. Calling also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 2, 2011 at the funeral home. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens. Preferred memorials to the American Cancer Society.
